GYDE365-Design : Starter Guide

This introduction guides you through the process for getting started with GYDE365-Design.

GYDE365-Design has multiple functions and capabilities to allow completion of the analysis and design phase of your customers Dynamics 365 implementation, with accuracy and consistency.

Please note – this guide does not show where customers will run the survey. This is the GYDE365 Studio where you, as a partner, test, create, upgrade or update the survey prior to release to customer.

Registration – First time logging in

After you have been added as a user by the Seer team, you will receive an email with your log in credentials.

This will be received from Gyde365 Team with the subject: User registration notification

Note: If you do not receive this email please check your ‘Junk folder’.

The password is static and will be saved upon login, but can be reset if required using the Forgot your password? link on the log in screen .

When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to read and accept the Seer 365 License Agreement.

Once logged, you will land on the home page.

Accessing your surveys

After you login you can access the surveys that have been published to your account.

To do this select Survey > Partner Survey

Survey list

This will list all surveys allocated to you, including any surveys that have been made obselete or older versions of an upgraded survey.

NB. Functionality due for release in H2 2022 will hide the obsolete surveys from view.

Creating a Partner survey

To create a new survey that has been released by Seer 365, select Create from the Partner Survey list

The options within Create from are;

  • Template : This will offer a list of Seer 365 Template surveys that have been released to you. These surveys can be amended and your own content added. This is the recommended option.
  • Survey : This will offer a list of surveys already released to you, allowing edit and amendments.
  • Scratch : This will offer a blank template for you to create your own survey.

Select the relevant template.

Enter a unique name for this survey. This is between 2 and 6 characters and will be unique to you. It is recommended to include a short reference to your company name followed by 2 or 3 numeric characters. For example “WIL01“.

When complete, select Create.

Amending a Partner survey

To test a survey, within Partner Surveys list, select Details against the latest survey version of the relevant survey.

If the survey is in Draft status, change to Test and select Done.

If the survey is in Published status, this cannot be changed and you will need to create a new survey (as above) or upgrade the current version to the latest version.

Testing a Partner survey

To test a survey, within Partner Surveys list, select Details against the latest survey version of the relevant survey.

Select the status to Test

If the survey is in Draft status, change to Test and select Done.

If the survey is in Published status, this cannot be changed and you will need to create a new survey (as above) or upgrade the current version to the latest version.

To run in Test mode, select Test in GYDE 365

Sync a survey to the Portal

When the survey is ready to push to the Portal, change the survey status to “Published

Once the survey is published the Sync option is available. Select Sync and this will send the survey to the portal ready to add to the customer account.
