Overview
The Electronic Reporting (ER) Framework is a reporting framework tool that helps organisations create and maintain regulatory Electronic Reporting and Payments.
The application is installed with all the configurations that Microsoft have created. These configurations have been created under the Microsoft Configuration Provider.
The concept behind Configuration Providers is that the library of configurations have been created using the Microsoft provider and Microsoft will release updates to these configurations.
In order to be able to use these configurations an organisation must created their own Configuration Provider. Thereafter, the Microsoft configurations can be used in the configurations held in your organisations configuration provider. This allows your organisation to amend existing configurations without changing the Microsoft configuration and also allows Microsoft to update their configurations in their library which can be applied to any configurations in your organisation’s configuration.
