Overview
A collection agent is a person who works with customers to make sure that payments are collected in a timely manner. Collection agents in Dynamics 365 allows users to be restricted to specific customer pools, rather than being able to view collections information for all customers.
This functionality is not to be confused with the role-based security model of Dynamics 365. Defining a user as a collection agent with this functionality does not grant or deny access to any pages, it just limits the data being shown on the page.
