FINANCE: FIXED ASSETS
Dynamics 365 Finance empowers business users to control finances and manage funds with accurate information, at any time, for financial planning and forecasting and staying up-to-date with analytics. Fixed Assets enables the management of items of value such as buildings, vehicles, land and equipment owned by the business. Acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals can be managed and considered.
Fixed Assets Overview
Fixed assets are items of value that are owned by an individual or organisation. The Fixed Asset module controls the creation, acquisition, depreciation, adjustment, transfer and disposal of fixed assets.
You can set up and enter acquisition information for fixed assets, and then manage the assets by setting depreciation schedules, capitalisation thresholds, creating asset adjustments and disposing of them.
The Fixed Assets module considers all items of value such as buildings, vehicles, land and equipment that are owned by an individual or company. The module enables users to set up and enter acquisition information for fixed assets, and then manage them by depreciating them and setting a capitalisation threshold to determine depreciation. The advanced module functionality simplifies a user’s management of the fixed asset lifecycle providing functionality to create, capitalise, transfer, revalue, split, depreciate and dispose fixed assets as standard.
