GYDE365-Design Content Chapter: Manufacturing Shop Floor Management

About Manufacturing Shop Floor Management

Manufacturing Shop Floor Management refers to the set of functionalities and tools designed to streamline and optimize the operations that take place on the shop floor of a manufacturing facility. It enables manufacturers to efficiently manage their production processes, track work orders, monitor resource utilization, and improve overall productivity.

Shop Floor Data Collection in Dynamics 365 allows operators to record data directly on the shop floor using various devices like tablets or barcode scanners. This includes capturing actual production quantities, recording scrap or rework information, updating work order status, and collecting time and attendance data.
